The main festival of Roses begins on August 10, and lasts until the 15th, this being a national holiday.
With the Family Beach seal, the Catalan Tourism Agency accredits Roses as a Family Tourism Destination. This brand distinguishes municipalities that are especially sensitive to this segment of demand and that offer facilities and services adapted to the needs of families with children. This also implies having accommodation, catering and leisure activity establishments individually certified with the Family Beach seal, once verified by technical staff from the Catalan Tourism Agency.
During the summer, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Ciutadella de Roses, various children's shows such as puppets, storytelling, circus, musical entertainment, theater... make children the kings of the party.
Also the rest of the year, in the theater, in the library, in Ca l'Anita, in the Ciutadella and in the castle of the Trinitat, you will find visits, shows, workshops and games aimed at children.
The designated festivities are also a very good opportunity to have a good time with the family: Nadal and Carnival are lived in Roses with great passion.
